Experience the Juneteenth Jubilee, a celebration of true independence, at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. Enjoy live performances on the plaza, shop goods from local vendors at the community market, and grab a bite from a variety of food trucks. Kick off the celebration with Opal’s Walk for Freedom, then enjoy family-friendly activities featuring Indigo Hippo, Black Lit Books, The Gaskins Foundation, the Cincinnati Observatory, and free screenings of “Afrofantastic: The Transformative World of Afrofuturism” and “Space is the Place.” Thanks to the support of the Fifth Third Foundation, admission to the Freedom Center is free for all visitors, with drop-in activities and mini tours for all ages. Bring friends and family together for a joyful event celebrating freedom, heritage and community.
