Graduate Writing Workshop: Writing the Successful Dissertation or Thesis Thursday, June 18, noon–1:30 p.m. Online This workshop provides practical strategies for writing and managing a successful dissertation or thesis. This workshop begins by overviewing the rhetorical and genre expectations of a dissertation and thesis. It then moves into describing how participants may find a writing process that works for them, build mentorship ecologies, and manage the affective workload. This workshop is open to graduate students in all disciplines. This event is offered through a partnership between the Academic Writing Center and the Graduate College. Transportation and Parking Free UC shuttle services are available for students with a UC ID, including routes between West and Medical campuses. Limited reciprocity parking may also be available for UC permit holders when space permits.
