About this event
"Big Tent," the inaugural exhibition at the FotoFocus Center, reflects both the nation’s character and FotoFocus’ commitment to democracy, creativity, experimentation and realism. Featuring artists from past and future FotoFocus programs, the exhibition explores the shifting landscape of American public life within a space designed for reflection and shared exchange. The title draws on the idea of America as a “big tent,” where varied perspectives gather under one roof—once literal spaces for grassroots organizing, now a broader metaphor for civic dialogue. Inspired in part by Amanda Gorman’s poem "In This Place (An American Lyric)," the exhibition traces scenes across the country — from protest and resilience to renewal — and concludes with a reflection on the breadth and diversity of the American experience. Thursday-Friday: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Satuday: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
